Vanessa's last TV gig was co-presenting 'Suzuki Xtreme 4x4' for TV3. She also has an array of TV & Film credits to her name including NARNIA - The Lion Witch & the Wardrobe. She has participated in runway modeling & photographic shoots. She has completed her Diploma of Performing Arts and several model courses including Masie Bestal Cohen's (NOVA) Advanced Course.She has taken part in many runway parades and for two years organised and ran the Manawatu Young Model Search Competition. She has television parts and TVCs to her credit.

The new series of.. "SUZUKI4X4XTREME" goes to air this week and as well as a hot new look, there's two other changes you're likely to notice - the new hosts, Chace Rodda and Vanessa Cater.

Chace Rodda, from Napier, is a chairperson of the Trial Committee and has competed in nearly 200 rallies. Chace is passionate about the sport and will give you all the inside information to help you fully understand the sport.

Vanessa brings a female perspective to this year's show and will help get other newbies up to speed with the ins and outs of Xtreme 4x4. As well as an acting CV that includes Shortland Street, Lord of the Rings and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Vanessa's into extreme sports and does her own stunts!
